Hi all
Was at Merrist today for our 3rd attempt at BD.
I was a stupid mummy and arrived late so had only 15 mins warm up for first test, only one canter each rein
spent too long making her pretty
Have still got to stop getting intimidated by posh horses and some riders with Union Jack Flags
So went in for Nov 25 slightly unprepared and still feeling wooden on the right.
It was an ok test but the left canter felt horrid as she was leaning in argh.
So came out and then had a stressy few moments and my head went blank and could not remember the second test one bit
Panic panic and kept Saf moving and she begun to soften.
I event and one test a day is my limit
so after another stress dad argeed to ask around to see if someone would read while I worked on Saf.
Role up a very kind lady who said she would read and in I went, Saf was much softer and the test felt so much better (Nov 32) after the test we hurried back to the yard to put Saf in the field and collect friends horse for the Elem tests.
When we got back dad went to see the scores and we got 61.2% for Nov 25 and 3rd place and 62.17% for Nov 32 and 2nd place *insert big grins*
Friend got a 5th and won her other Elem
