How did people do, i know a few of us were going
My day was horrific!!! My round was a shambles, though proved comic for many who were watching.
Rock was very very stuffy in the warm up, i could tell it was going to be one of those days! However he jumped first 3jumps super so was feeling positive, jump 4 was a long double which he didnt have a good stride or rhythm into but cleared it JUST, round to the planks fence 5, perfect stride, perfect impulsion, take off....and turn 90degrees. A really dirty and naughty stop. Not out of spookiness other wise it would have been strides out, just plain kevin-ness!! Nearly came off, heard gasps, people i was with were convinced i was coming off but managed to stay on!! Smack, kept going, jumped it second time beautifully, then a rather hectic round, paniced and all over the place, never met any of the strides and then last jump good stride, took off then put down on me, crashed through the jump and threw me out the saddle but stayed on. My mate watching said she could see daylight clearly between me and the saddle i was flung about a foot out of the saddle!!!
So all in all a rather crap round but he IS a baby and today he was just pushing his boundaries, hmmm got some good piccies though!
