LOL - yes, if he were a human male, he'd be the type that can't walk past a mirror or window without checking out his reflection and puffing his chest out!
But then he's also such a big baby - a livery owner on the yard has just given him a new horse-ball (he completely trashed his last one) and he's spending much of his time in the stable playing daft games with it. His favourite game involves grabbing the handle in his teeth, standing bolt upright on his hind legs and boxing at the ball with his front feet - like a boxer with a punchbag.
He thinks this is tremendous fun, and soooo clever - silly twerp. So much for the big macho stallion, eh?
Oh what a sweet picture! Zeus just looks soooo adorable - I love his dear friendly face!
Of course as we all know they don't really admire their reflections - they think it's another horse when they look in mirror....and obviously Zeus has a nice friendly attitude to other horses!
Hope you are having a lovely Christmas Enfys! I managed to get myself up and dressed and cook a big Christmas lunch for my hubby and step-children - exhausted now, but it was worth it. Hoping I might be well enough to go and see Tobago sometime soon, as I haven't seen him for weeks now. Fingers crossed!
He does get muddy - honest! But he's not allowed in the paddocks when it's too muddy/slippery, cos he keeps trying to break the land-speed record and they're scared he'll injure himself. So he has to go in the sand-school instead.
I'll try to get a muddy/sandy pic for you - meanwhile this is a more recent one - just a casual snap taken by a visiting friend:
(That's one of the Cliveden grooms, Bonnie, leading him - not me cos I can't keep up lol!)
