Just thought I'd post alittle update on the orange one for anyone who was intrested.
He's been in since yesterday and had some well soaked hay and a teeny tiny handful of happy hoof with some bute in it. He is not very impressed with this arrangement at all
But the good news is today he is walking like a normal pony :) Has no heat in his feet :) and although I tried very hard I couldn't find paulses in any of his feet :D :D :D
I'm leaving him in the stable today and I'll put him in the school on the lunge tom quickly to see if he's sound, But I think we have averted a disaster :D
I'm shore it was just the OH feeding them and the sun/rain combo that caused it.
Blinking weather. I know we need rain but I wish it would make up it's mind what it wants to do
Thankyou to everyone who commented on yesterdays post with advise and sending vibes. xx

Thats brilliant news Laura, well done for catching it so early.

This weather is just crazy, I have just had to bring all 4 of mine in, instead of just the two big ones, as their paddocks were more like lakes with the run off from the common. They are happily munching hay and have had a good roll in their beds, they really needed a break from the torrential rain ..... cant wait to do 4 stables tomorrow though! xx

Thanks guys. :)

Good luck with the stables tomorrow Sprout. They were all desgusting at work this morning I think the weather has wound them all up a bit. That or they all had partys in there boxes last night  :p :D
