OK, I have had this text as she is off to bed but she wanted me to post this for her.

It's Cheltenham today and the favourite for the Champion hurdle is a horse called "Detroit City" - He's one of my bambinos! I foaled him in 2002!! IMO he's a worthy favourite (She would say that, wouldn't she,,,*sniggers scampishly*) but he's only a baby for this race - 5 year olds don't have the best record in it, but it would be GREAT if he proves to be an exception!!!
Am off to bed now, so I can get up for the race!

So there you go. Message delivered!
"GO DETROIT CITY GOOOOOOOOOOOOOO"

Hes a very good horse. He is running at 3.15 today so good luck to him and Richard Johnson on board.

Detroit City has been a well deserved favourite for some time now.
He is owned by Terry Warner, who bought him following the death of his other grey Rooster Booster, and is trained, like Rooster Booster by Philip Hobbs, and ridden by Richard Johnson..
Lovely heart warming story + good horse = the ideal winning scenario (hopefully!

), so I'll be rooting for him.
Also fancy Straw Bear for an e/w placing.

Yay, I love Cheltenham.

Brave Inca for me!
Banker of the day is Granit Jack in the first. Had very good early French form, then ran crap when suffering with stomach ulcers. Recovered to win his only start in this country, will improve off that.

I'd rather AP was on Brave Inca tho.....so as I'm a huge fan going to have to stick with following Straw Bear (don't think he'll win it tho....)
