My boy always empties his feed bowl over the floor when he eats. He feels the need to tip it up and eat from the corner (and then of course spills most of it)
Anyone else have this issue? Any simple solutions?
Im thinking of tipping his tea onto an off cut of rubber matting, he can’t tip it up and it’s easy to pick up and wash off.
The other thing we sometimes do is serve his dinner on a bed of hay, so it’s off the floor and unspillable.

I just make sure i put the feed bucket on a clean bit of swept floor, i have rubber mats, as he seems to like eating off the floor.
It’s ok when he’s in his stable, but he has a turnout area too which is gravel/hardcore and the feed is trickier to clean up.
When the weather is reasonable he comes ‘in’ to his turnout area rather than his stable.
I’ll keep my eye out for a dumped tyre

If you are passing any tyre place and stop and ask they'll give you old tyres, they are happy to get rid for free

If your ever passing a tyre place, or a mechanics garage , kwik fit etc, they will happily give you some

Just the other week a pile of tyres was dumped in a local gateway, if id thought of it I’d have grabbed one before someone torched them 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have to tie the bucket firmly to the gate in a deep bucket, else he scrapes it out with his foot and nudges the bucket over.

I did the tyre trick, but I also filled the inner edge of the tyre with old bricks/heavy rocks to weigh it down further.
