Does anyone have a dog on this? If so where do you get it from? Is it cheaper online if you get a prescription?

Think we used to get it online with a prescription. Try googling it for prices then compare it to your vet.

Try vio vet or animed. Have used them before and had good dealings with them. Most vets will charge for a written prescription.

Animed are a reputable company that follow UK laws and guidelines, be careful of others as some operate outside this and you may not get what you are expecting

Yes and yes. Our 13yo lab is on it. We get a perscription from vet for about £13 and then buy it online for over half the price the vet charge.
ETA, we gt the big bottle (big dog!) and it works out about £25 cheaper per bottle this way. Not sure how cost effective it would be for a smaller dog/smaller bottle.

It might be worth discussing with your vet, but my friend works at a vets and they now prescribe something called, inflacam,which is half the cost of Metacam..

Yes, that's why I asked as I was wondering how you know what is legit.
I'm hoping our vets prescriptions will be low cost, if anything. He doesn't charge for home visits. He's a good guy.
