I've seen these photos before somewhere but they popped up again on the Guardian today. Anyway it's interesting, it wasn't something I'd ever heard of before I saw the photos. One of the captions made me giggle - "handicapped by riding side-saddle with only good control over one side of the horse"
I'd be willing to bet that those riders have better control over both sides of their horses then I do riding astride!
