Michael Eilberg was stopped by Verden Police for driving his electric scooter on the road and spent an hour with police. He still went on to win the WBFSH Young Horse Championship with 9.72 a huge margin. A 10 for the walk a small hitch coming off a corner or the judge said he would have a 10 for the trot his marks.9.4,10,9.8,9.6,9.8. The second horse was 9.12. The President of the Hanoverian Society said it was the best horse in these Championships for 10 years and of course the dams sire was Dimaggio the BHHS licensed stallion who won in 2000. The critic of a leading German equestrian magazine said it was the best mare he had ever seen. The WBFSH President Jan Pederson said he was very worried that something might go wrong and Farouche would not take his rightful place as the winner. This was followed by the stallion Deveraux 3 whose studbook name is Deni Deni and is by Desperados winning two 4 year old stallion classes he was sold as a foal by Ron Williams and was the first GB branded licensed stallion in Germany. The Breeding Director of the German National Federation said this was a tremendous success for British Hanoverian Breeding. It is hoped Ferdi Eilberg will give a Master Class with Farouche at the BHHS show at Addington on the 25th of September this will be a must for all dressage devotees.
