Michael Whitaker now ranked no 1!

Hey, just looked at the BSJA rankings list and Michael Whitaker has now moved up to No 1! Nick Skelton has been there for so long, but because Arko is out of work at the moment, he's slipped down to no 2!

Ha.....I thought he might as the gap had closed so dramatically on the last list. Just goes to show how much Nick relies on Arko. Michael has 2 or 3 really good horses to call on so will be tough to knock off for a while I reckon

But nick had a big win on russell in the grand prix at addington t'other week so i hear!

I don't think Addington prize money is quite up to Syracuse / Washington etc...which is where Michael was winning the other week

Until Arko is back and on form again, I think MW will be pretty well unchallenged at the top of the rankings
