I am looking to purchase a micklem, but have been advised that some competitions don't allow you to compete in them?

I was surprised to hear this as they're just a different styled bridle!

Has anyone else heard this?

Thanks :-)

I have never had any problems competing in mine. If anyone says something I just tell them it is BE, FEI, PC, RC, BSJA and BD legal so they cant stop me using it.
There are rules about them like you can't use the bit clips and I am not sure if you can use them bitless in competition. I think there was a rule saying you couldn't use the multi bridle in competition because of the rings but that may have changed now.
