My ISH doesn't like poll pressure. I used to ride him in a tom thumb, but would throw his head up, mostly when jumping. He also likes rushing his fences, and throws his head when im trying to hold to a fence.

I am now riding him in a loose ring french link fulmer snaffle, and the head tossing is better but he gets abit too strong jumping so have been using a kineton noseband. He seems to respond to this combo well so my question is ....
Does anyone on here think a micklem bridle would suit him?

The micklem is a very well designed comfortable bridle for sure. It helped my ISH who had bridle issues. I am using one on my WB and sharing the same with my 3 year old when we do ground work. I do intend to buy 2 more when I can afford to.

I have the multi bridle and I must say the nose rin is invaluable for in hand work. People recommend the competition bridle as better quality leather, but for me the multi bridle will have to serve for both.
