I have one of these waiting for me at my tack shop and I just wanted to see if anyone has had any experience with them, good or bad?

It sounds really good and now I have relaxed (a lot) about my new horse and decided to keep him I am wondering whether to buy it for him, but don't want to blow my money on something that could potentially be a waste of money!

any comments/advice welcome!

thankies

i think sammiea on here had one for her youngster... i have heard mixed reviews but i think, like anything that not everything is going to work on every horse

I have one, and am really impressed with it. Had it on my youngster and has ben a god send when it came to lunging before getting on. He also worked really well in it but now due to it not being approved under rules i have started using a "normal" bridle on him.
I also tried it on my difficult mare and she went very sweetly in it but again she competes under rules so is not ideal.
I am looking to sell it if anyone is intrested in a secondhand one so i can fund my recent vet bill

seems like it is a mixed verdict then.

what size is the bridle? I need a cob size

I have one which is gathering dust in the tack room. The fit is appalling, I have a big warmblood and the full size is almost too big in some areas, and only just do up in others, and my instructor managed to cause a very nasty lesion because of the bit clip rubbing. My mare absolutely hates it and is really tense in it, not good for something that is supposed to be kind!

Here is an illustration....

Lesion... (be aware that the bit clip was on the correct way around, but I unclipped it to show the lesion properly hence it being incorrect here)...
