Poor Bob is slatehred in NetTex summer slave and is wearing his sweetitch hoody under his t/o - it'll eb like this until blooming September now!!

How are all you other owners of sweetitch prone horses surviving?

what product ,apart from fly rug/boet etc, do people recommend usuing for sweetitch? our welshie got it for the first time last summer and obviously want to make her as comfortable as possible this summer..she will be living out from april til october

My shettie had his sweet itch rug on and lots of fly spray for the first time Friday, bloody things i hate them! Even worse when the fields are wet and warm they go everywhere.

According to the sweet-itch website, if the temp is above 12 degrees C the midges will be biting; below that and they're simply present.

We've had up to 11 degrees this week ...

I like to be safe than sorry, the sun on the damp grass here on friday was very warm and humid, ponies were getting very irritated. Was dreading this time of year but going to start as i mean to go on as when i got my son's shettie last year he was in a terrible state, now i want to try and prevent it more than ever.
