At 24!

Throwing most of my rugs on the sale pile as although they are decently useable they are muddy smelly and dirty and I want to buy nice clean ones that are easy to stack in rug boxes!!

Does anyone else do this?!!

No, because I am too tight :) - a penny saved is a penny earned - also older rugs are better made (I sound 100 years old now :p). However, have just paid a fortune to have a rug washed, reproofed and repaired am seriously considering buying cheaper rugs and then binning them when they have fallen to pieces.

Won't you wash them to sell anyway?

Anyway no I wouldn't do this, I couldn't possibly afford to.

No last time i sent turnouts in to be washed it was a nightmare!
I never wash a rug to sell it, you pay like £15 plus the hastle of doing it and sell it for £20! Not worth it IMO!
If there awfull they get binned!

If they're not too bad, I pressure wash them at home. If they need reproofing or repairing, I have them cleaned professionally. I usually manage to get away with paying for them every other year, which is not too bad. I've got rambo rugs that are 16 years old and still going strong!
