A friend of mine may be looking to rehome her springer boy. He's under two years old (I think). Does anyone have any ideas where she could go for help with a good home?

I'll find out more info tomorrow. I'm just putting feelers out.

If you can't help out through personal connections, I would strongly consider Springer rescue.

Breed rescue groups are usually excellent when it comes to finding new homes; a friend of mine recently acquired a chihuahua from a chihuahua rescue group, and they requested previous breed experience, which I believe is fairly common.

I would reccomend your friend contacting the prison service, they will always take suitable dogs, esp if he is a bouncy active boy, and or even better toy orientated, they will take him off your friends hands, and he will live a working life as intended for his breed.

If this is an option, you can PM me for deatils, we always send our rescue labs, cockers, springers and shepherds to the prison service, we get them back if they do not pass, but that rarely happens.

Thank you everyone! Cala, could you PM me the info?
