Hence my coligone question.
In the 20 years I have owned my pony he has never suffered an illness, today he went down and it's breaking my heart to see him this way, he is up on his feet and inside now, he is a 24/7 out horse with access indoors at all times, add lib haylage, he is a hardy little pony and get by on what seems like fresh air.
He is showing signs of mild colic, vet has been and he has had drugs and it's now a wait and see, hence me doing hourly checks on him.
I bought a different brand of main ring type food(this is the hard feed he has always been on) 2 days ago, it looks very pellity
im now wondering if this has caused it, as everything else is the same he has the same food, routine everything, he is between 25-30 years old.
Any advice would be appreciated, im not a horsey expert and want to make im as comfortable as I can, his temp is normal, I keep checking it.
Another question, have left a message for my vet, is coligone ok with the drugs he has been given i.e. buscopan or should there be a time delay.
Huge thanx
