mare had mild colicky symptoms this morning after i changed field over as paddock was really muddy all 3 of them had a mad gallop round and got all hot and bothered.think this probably caused some colicky symptoms in my mare but have kept a close eye on her and seems much brighter.not new grass as just different part of the field but shes 17 and i think doesnt cope very well with stress or change now.also wondered if this change in the weather yesterday very wet and windy,today warm and sunny could affect her.any thoughts please and keep fingers crossed she remains ok.
