Hi all,
My horse had a suspensory injury on his RF. he is now rehabbing with 10-15mins trot daily. He was fine, until the farrier came (he has leather pads and suspensorix shoes) the farrier has used the same shoes front and back for around 3-4months now which i find very odd (?). I rode him the same day he got his shoes done and the next day, on the 3rd (technically 2nd) he was trotting soundly until some random point where he suddenly became lame again. He’s not hopping lame, he’s mildly lame. But i don’t know what could have caused this. Any ideas?
Another farrier will come on Monday, vet will only come in 2 weeks. There is no heat nor swelling, my trainer done some minor palpitations on both his fronts and he shows no reaction nor discomfort
Any ideas will be greatly appreciated
