Felt very slight stiffness yesterday when warming up but seamed to work out of it, intended tofinish on some jumping but he was landing on wrong leg very unusual so stopped work cooled him off. Turned out for the day after, no clear visible sign but its hard sometimes when youre leading yourself. No swelling heat stones in shoes no hobbling.

a bit of stiffness this morning again seamed to work out of it until canter, not happy on r rein so stopped again, I've left him in today.

would you lunge tonight? rest bit longer, turn out, call vet?

should be at a show on sun but ground likely to be hard so wont jump if theres an inkling of doubt.????

Depending on how bad it is I would perhaps do a gentle hack tonight and see how you get on. Although always in the back of my mind is the fear of a vet telling me 'if only you'd called me earlier.

Go with your gut instinct. You could perhaps call your vet to discuss it and they can advise you on what to do.

Why don't you just call the vet for advice? They are likely to say bute and box rest for a few days but then at least you'd know you were doing the right thing!

If you thought everything was ok I expect you wouldn't have posted on here - so if you have a gut feeling that all is not right - I'd go with your instinct - no-one knows your horse better than you
