I noticed mild thrush on 3 of my filly's hooves (black line outlining frog) farrier recommended purple spray but after a week of using it it is still there and looks like the spray isn't staining and clinging, a few hours later you can't even see it. So farrier recommended stockholm tar, well I had to get the thickest and messiest didn't I! Now could I clean and apply purple spray and then seal it with the tar for a double whammy?
