Just a quick post to say Millie came home tonight - and so far has been an absolute angel!! She's been for 'wee wee's' (and also number 2's) both in the garden (well chuffed), had her dinner, been all around the house (well downstairs anyway - upstairs is for the cat), met the cat who is a bit non-plussed but there's been no barking, hissing, scratching or biting from either of them - in fact at one point tonight i though i was in heaven - Millie was completey zonked out alseep on my lap, Gypsy (the cat) was fast asleep on the arm of the chair, and i had a bag of malteasers what more could i need!! anywho, pointless. but i'm one incredibly happy girl!

Cayla - the puppy manual is fantastic - Thanks!!

Could of gratuitous photos - just because!

Not the best photo but proof of me, puppy and cat all sharing the same seat

Good luck with the new baby, remember in military stylee, not to many mushy cuddles before establishing a routine:rolleyes::D which is hard when they are that little:p

JRTs are the best, and yours is a little beauty.

Our mini JRT was housetrained in about a week (has only EVER made 4 mistakes in the house), so hope Millie does as well for you. Really jealous of all the lovely puppy cuddles you are getting, and the puppy smell.........

Just thought i'd post a quick update, Millie has been fab, so far only 1 accident in the house (which i will take the blame for as i didnt notice hergiving all the signals she needed to go!). I have ended up with her crate in my bedroom for night 1 & 2 (I live in a rented house at the moment so dont want any complaints!) and so far she wimpers and wines until i let her outside, then moans for a bit before going back to sleep generally twice a night. but tonight i'm going to try and leave her down stairs and fingers crossed I'll get a better nights sleep - she's had a busy day today visiting Pets @ home, playing with one of her brothers at the yard and playing with my friends children, oh and i've played with her a bit too!

The only thing concerning me a bit is that she really isnt eating very much - but after speaking to my friend (who is also a vet) i feel a bit better - she basically said there is nothing wrong with the amount of energy she has, she is passing poop, so is probably getting plenty from what she is eating.

I am one incredibly happy JRT owner

P.S. - Cayla I promise there are only the fewest smushy hugs and the rest of the time its like an army barracks its so military!
