What is Milton Keynes intro like? In the BE book it says it's suitable for first timers at BE90 level.

I haven't been there for a few years as it's always badders weekend, but this year we can make it and then head onto the big one (for mega shopping and dreaming that one day I'll ride there!!!!!)

It fits in really well with my spring diary and starting off the baby.

Any opinions??

I did Milton Keynes as my first ever event at Intro level and found that the course rode really well.

My mare had a few green moments-she spooked at a steeplechase fence next to my dressage arena and reared!!

Still managed 38 though!
Then knowing she would be nappy leaving the start box we left at full pelt until she realised half way to the first fence that she was leaving the warm up and hit the brakes and I exited via the front door!!

Very embarrassing moment that I have never managed to live down!! Even after all that I still had a great ride xc.

Good luck!! I'm sure your experience will be better than mine.

Brilliant, many thanks for that. I reckon it'll be ok for his first run. I'm going to get in loads of xc schooling between now and then, so hopefully he'll be right ready!

Woohoo, exciting!
