Hi all,
I'm thinking of entering my mini cob in the youngster class at a local show in September. I'm not expecting him to win as he is going through a growth spurt currently & looks abit gangly, however I'd like him to look as good as he can & also gain the experience.
I haven't done any in hand showing for years so I'm not really sure what I need to do to him & if anything a really changed. Being 3, does he have to wear a bitted bridal? I haven't bitted him as yet so that could be the real decider. He's also got a good beard starting to grow & my friend has told me to I'll need to shave that off? But he's quite heavy with a full feather so I think he's look strange without it?
