I posted re title a week ago because I have 3 miniature shetlands sharing a stable on a deep litter shavings bed and my lovely shavings fork lets most of the poos fall straight through! Following some helpful replies, I invested in something called a pellet fork (Fynalyte I think) and it arrived a day or so ago. Very well made with metal tines and an aluminium handle. Tines are half a cm apart compared with 1cm apart on the normal shavings fork. Doesn't sound a huge variation but let me tell you B-I-G difference! Picks up all but the teensiest of poos (and I don't count those) and the amount of shavings I'm saving (only 1/3rd of a wheelbarrow today compared with a full one normally) will mean the new fork pays for itself in about 8 - 10 weeks. Thanks everyone!
