Hi, I have an 8 YO TB who has been a little uncomfortable since last week on his front right. He appears relatively sound in hand and ridden in walk until on the right reign where he throw ears back and let's you know.
There's no heat on the knee joint and a tiny bit of extra fluid. I've had him off work but with turnout since Friday, rode again yesterday and same thing happened. Flexion test showed slight lameness and falling short in his stride after throwing his ears back. Chosen to box rest fully with no T/O until Sunday and reassess. My Q to anyone with a little more expertise than I; how long should I leave this? Should I be doing anything else? Is this a vet worthy call yet? All comments appreciated
thanks!
