minor panic!!!

I've stabled my mini Shetland mare whilst her seven month old foal is weaned. I had been concerned that the mum was feeling a bit bony around the withers and pelvis. Whilst I was grooming her today I had one hand on her loin, just behind the ribcage and I could swear I felt some movement....Would this be where I would feel foetal movement?

She came to us in June when the foal was a couple of weeks old. The stallion who was the sire had just been gelded but I'm not sure if there were other potential sires in the vicinity.

You can get her blood tested to know for sure ! Have you noticed her come into season since you have had her?
