One of my geldings has a minor nodular sarcoid or skin tag on his sheath, I'd like to deal with it sooner rather than later.

What are the costs involved with banding? Has anyone tried the Radiance Gold Sarc-Secret with success?

Thanks

I’ve had 2 sarcoids banded, neither have returned and it was prob about £100 once you have factored in visit fees etc….both were size of a large Brussel sprout on a stalk. Both were on belly inside/front of stifle, one each side, at t different times.. There is a scar about an inch for each one.
The 3rd one was on the thin skin on inner thigh, grew to side of average sprout so I used Sarcex and it gradually dried out, peeled apart and dropped off….no sign of it now.

Vet banded a couple about 9 years ago and they’ve not returned. Looked painful looking back at the photos.

I had several banded, some haven't come back others have. Personally I'd go for banding first as it's quick easy and cheap x

I would go for banding first but you need to remember that stress mental or physical can make them reappear so getting the horse into great health in a routine he’s relaxed and happy in is the most portant thing .
Nodular sarcoids often drop off themselves I saw that myself on Fatty when several drop off themselves while we where waiting for winter to remove them .

I had 2 banded by the vet, once they shrivelled and fell off they never returned. Pony wasn’t bothered at all by the procedure.
