a friend of mine was at work 5/9/09 and the was a black/white horse stuck in one of the pipes at the treatment plant they called the rspca .looked as if the horse hade fell in a river and followed the flow to the treatment plant .the treatment plant has water from all birminghan and black country areas so his horse could have came from any where .my friend didnt stay around to look at the horse only the colour black / white . he didnt say hight or sex of horse but the rspca arranged the removal so they would have a detailed record of the poor thing

years ago I owned a field just up the road from there by castle bromwich school, water orton side of the M6 motorway bridge, and below my field there was about 200 acres of land that ran along side that river and the local gypsy family who I think were name the Furys used to graze about 50 colourd mares and stallion, they lost a few to that river it runs very fast.

just thought id let people know just in case they think the horse has been stolen dont think the rspca will appeal for a owner ? just a shame but its got to be told .other wise no one will hear about it .

My daughter actually works for the Civil Engineers who are rebuilding Minworth Treatment Works. She came home & told me about this incident on the day it happened. Initially it was thought to be a horse in the works however it was found to be a cow on removal. (They're noy very horsey there)
