my boy has a lot of scars on his legs and a nasty one on his bum. i've been using cornucrescine for months now and it hasnt done a thing, other than make a mess! is there anything else i can try? they all get covered up when he gets his winter coat, but they show really badly in summer, esp the one on his bum. it was from a kick when he moved in last yr. big nasty one, with a completely bald strip of skin. i brush his coat over it to make it look a bit better. was really hoping the cornucrescine wud help.

I know its for people really but i wonder is Bio-oil would work on a horse?
Supposed to be amazing stuff

You could try a good quality aloe vera gelly, usually treating it with aloe when the injury occurs will encourage normal hair re-growth with the healthy tissue but if the wound is over a year old I would tend to think that the scar tissue thats formed is unlikely to re-grow any hair if it hasn't already.
