Mirrors in a trailer/lorry?

I would worry about doing this - what would happen in the unfortunate event of an accident in said trailer/lrroy? The mirrors might break, split, crack, etc and cause damage to your horse :-(

There are a couple of companies making stable mirrors who sell mirrors for travelling as well so I have no worries about safety. They are not standard glass mirrors like you have at home, they are either metal which wouldn't split (or wouldn't be in any worse a state than your trailer would be in the event of an horrific accident), or toughened reflective plastic. Plus TBH, if you have an accident in the trailer, I think there are bigger risks that a piece of shiny plastic drilled into the wall.

My question is not one of safety, I am confident travelling mirrors are safe, just of the practicalities of actually fitting them.
