Following the success of the stable mirror, was thinking of getting one for the lorry.

He's pretty good at shows a anyway but he seems to find the stable one such a comfort and is so chilled with it, any thoughts?

...and if they have where and how do they fix them in the lorry? (sorry to piggy back on your post custards mum!)

Someone I knew at uni did a study on them for her dissertation, she found they worked well, better than nothing but not as good as having another horse for company.

We've just bought one for our lorry. Ella does seem to like it. I followed a friend's horse & trailer the other day and he had a mirror in it - he certainly seemed to be admiring himself in it

As for where to fix it, in our lorry is a two horse forward facing, so it was easy to put it up where Ella can see herself. Not so sure about herringbone though. We bought ours from ebay.

My lorry is herring bone and thats the bit I am not sure about. One of the mirror companies I rang seemed unsure where to fix it also!

Make sure you get a plastic (not glass) mirror. I have 1 in the box that he can see, but it is for me to tie my Biggles Scarf (stock) vaguely straight!
