missing an old pony

Been 4 years since i last saw or heard of him, and i miss him very much, i never got closure on the whole situation and i don't think this feeling will go away until i see him again. I heard through the grapevine the area he is stabled in, but is it too intrusive to put posters up in local horsefeed shop?

Really at a loss with what to do? I would give anything to see him again as it broke my heart loosing him. But i don't want to upset anyone-new owners ect...

What to do???

I presume he was sold on? If so, I don't think it's right to put posters up anywhere. If I was his new owner and had bought him 4 years ago, I'd be highly suspicious of a stalker trying to track him down. Thoughts of ownership battles, solicitors, theft, god knows what else would be going through my mind, but then I am a suspicious, cynical soul.

^ those are my thoughts exactly. i have a horse now and i would be very concerned if i saw posters of him up around everywhere...

He was an old loan pony and we fell out with the owner and she cut me off without even letting me say goodbye to him, i dont know if she still owns him and he's out on loan again or if she sold him.
