just to let anyone who was interested know, I found my dog! She had been taken to the Dog Warden a couple of hours after she went missing on Saturday afternoon. Because she had pulled her collar off with its tags they didn't bother to scan her micro-chip. I spent Monday morning calling round Dog Warden's etc and found her :D
Typically when I picked her up she looked at me as if to say ''What took you sooo long?!'' She's obviously very stressed from her ordeal, having spent all afternoon/evening asleep lol
So thankyou to anyone who offered help/advice and to the Dog Warden's for their help :) and whoever it was who took her in! She will be staying firmly on her lead from now on...:) xx

So glad you have found her, but not very impressed that the Dog Wardens hadn't bothered to scan her. Not the first time I have heard of this happening though, makes you wonder why people go to the trouble of trying to identify their pets.:(

hmm I thought this too, but maybe they just assumed someone would come looking for her. Just would have saved a lot of stress and my pony from having to trek around the woods for hours looking for her! lol xx

Oh that's brilliant! You must be so relieved to have her home - thanks for updating the happy ending :)

So with no tags to go on, how did the warden think they would reunite her with you without scanning? Halfwits!

That was my immediate reaction, but I like to think it was just because she's such a lovely dog (if you've got a peg on your nose!) they wanted to keep her for themselves ;):p haha
