My sister in law got a phone call we all dread , one of her horses had gone missing everyone was crying , and rushing around the place in their cars looking for him , she rang me and i suggested she looked around the fencing as once i found a horse trapped in the barbed wire , and there he was STUCK over the x country jump that was part of the fence , silly twitt had tried to jump out and ended up with two legs over and two legs not typical, no injuries but he did get the day off , bless him

omg! Good job he's safe and sound though!

LOL! That reminded me of the time I had to phone the police about a missing youngster! He was a tad wild at the time and was unmercifully bullied by the top man of the herd. When I went to check him he was missing so naturally I assumed he had jumped out of the field and gone awol.

In fact he had gone awol but not into the forestry but into his stable! He had broken the fence down and taken himself indoors! Imagine how stupid I felt ringing the police and saying we had found him in his stable! LOL!

My horse had disappeared from the field on Monday, and I was in a right state, checked all the hedges and fencing, no sign of her and I was totally baffled why anyone would have stolen her - I love her dearly but she isn't everyone's cup of tea, and there are nicer horses in her field. Also she is not particularly sociable with strangers (unlike most of the others) and not a great loader! I was really worried, but finally got a phone call from the next door farm saying there was a new horse in their field, which turned out to be her! Still have no idea how she got two fields over and out of sight, all fencing is intact I absolutely can't fathom it!
Glad your sister's horse is ok! He must have been really patient to just stand and wait like that!
