I've just seen and copied this from the Arabian Lines forum..

I am really worried.... on Sunday night all my mini mares/fillies went missing from their paddock in front of the house. I think they escaped rather than taken. A neighbours daughter was coming home from somewhere at 2am and saw them on the lane (she didn't alert anyone). We spent all day Sunday looking for them to no avail. We have alerted the police in both Shropshire and Powys and nothing has been reported as found. All the neighbours have been alerted. We are hoping someone has found them and put them in a field... we just don't know. I am desperate to find them. What do i do??

I can't think straight.... we have just lost our youngest son (aged 19) and on Friday I was diagnosed with Cancer... I just can't think.

Where are my poor little ones.
Can anyone help?
I live between Meifod and Llansantffraid (Nr Welshpool)

Update from AL. :)

UPDATE
The little rascals are home!
What a night we had. I had just finished seeing to all the other animals and it was getting dark when a 4x4 rolled up and a very nice lady got out. She said "have you lost 5 little ponies".... I said YES, have you found them? She said she had and I am ashamed to say I burst into tears and gave her a great big hug. I think she thought I was bonkers! It transpired that all my wonderful neighbours had been texting everyone they knew to look out for these little houdini's and check out all the fields. This lady had received such a text and wouldn't have taken much notice (she said) except that she had found "little mini poos" on her very clean yard and fortunately put 2 & 2 together. She went searching and found they had gone under the electric fence and were in a VERY VERY large field with their cattle!! They were not visible from the farm (down a big steep hill) and this lady and her fiance were just about to disappear to Shrilanka to get married! We wouldn't have found them for 2 weeks. (My other half had been searching fields all day and even sheep and calves were beginning to look like mini horses by dusk!)
The hooligans had obviously wandered in a completely different direction from when they were last seen. They had chosen this ladies very posh farm to have a holiday! We followed her down her new pristine drive and, with the help of Martin her fiance, we eventually rounded them up (they didn't want to leave this big field). We walked them home, up and down hills, and by the time I got them home I was exhausted, ringing wet with the effort but so, so happy and relieved.

I cannot thank everyone enough for all your helpful advice and good wishes. I had made lots of posters, but fortunately didn't need to put them up. I will take a photo of the gang so you can all see them.

Thank you all again.

What an absolutely dreadful time this lady is having.

As the owner of a missing dog and a not missing mini whom I've had for years and love dearly, I can only say I'm soo glad they are home.
