Our horse moved yards at the weekend and is now on a full livery/training package, 20 mins from home rather than on DIY 5 mins from home.
While it's nice not to have to get up in the dark to muck out or rush back from jobs or family occasions to do her in the evening, I really miss her.
I'm planning to go and see her every day (as long as I don't drive the trainer round the twist!) - she whinnies when she sees me and is the same mix of sweetie and grumpy old bag.
I know she'll benefit from the training and it's better for me as I run my own business and can devote more time to it, but it's such a wrench.
Any advice?
