Hi
I'm hoping you guys can give me some advice, my horse has only got one shoe on behind at the moment (long story but problem now resolved) and we have a 1 day in 2 weeks, what is the best thing to use on his unshod hoof to keep him working until I can get the farrier out.

I've tried vetrapping the foot but he wore through it really quickly, someone has suggested a Shoof but I can't get that until Tuesday has anyone got any other suggestions?

Any help appreciated!

Cut a double layer in a hoof shape out of a baby's nappy and vetrap it onto the foot, then duct tape the whole lot. You can hack in this (but slowly as less grip).

I had a similar problem about a year ago when mine kept pulling off a back shoe travelling (eventually we realised she hated travel boots). I used an easyboot & that was really good.
