Bruce had to take a trip to the vets today because he's having weeing issues - He's totally housetrained but for the last 2 evenings he's has 'accidents' - copious amounts of wee and a mortified spangle who desperately tries to get to the back door......last night he was on the second floor so 'dribbled' wee all the way down 2 sets of stairs - bless him he was only trying to do the right thing
Anyhow - I took him to the vets as I suspected a kidney infection. Once there the vet stuck a thermometer up his bottom (he wasn't impressed) to find he did have a temperature, then stuck a tube up his boy bits to get a urine sample - Bruce was such a brave boy, but I wish I could have got a picture of his face
He does have a kidney infection and is on AB's with a check-up on monday.
HOWEVER - the vet said he must be kept quiet ( he's a spangle FFS) and dry ( it's not stopped raining here for weeks) The vet did snigger whilst telling me this, saw my look of dismay and kindly said 'well, try your best!' I have taken the vets advice seriously, cue me taking a mortified spangle for a lead walk around the village, wearing a dog coat
Will we ever live it down?
