Its been about 5 weeks now since she last injured herself due to a kick either caused by herself

or a kick by another horse .... More than likely done by herself by kicking out at the wall .

Swelling has gone rightly down but still a slight swelling, No lameness at all since she injured herself, just abit of heat and the obvious swelling , Was scanned 3 weeks ago , Will be scanned again tomorrow to see if there is any damage to the tendon ie scarring/adhesions .

Hoping for good news, So can put her out to grass for a month or 2 .

She is still on the bute once a day, although did do well off it and the swelling stayed down . Still being walked 15 mins ... 3 times a day , is fun

. Vet also suggested I lunge her in a walk in a large circle , First time we did this I tacked her up and stuck her in side reins . First 10 mins was great and then a some nancy was out shooting a few fields away and missy decided to take offence to this and did a "hi ho silver " on me

followed by a "billy the bronco"

, soooo .... that ended that session .

Been a very naughty girlie out on these walks .... But I suppose being a baby and being kept in would bring out the naughtiness in any baby horse

.

Fingers crossed for wednesday that it brings good news ....

Just before her idiotic moments ....

She looks good. Don't envy you with the walking. We once had a pony that needed walking inhand, in the end I phoned the vet and said I was getting on it. A bit of extra weight was better than leaping and jumping on the end of the rope
