Mites - Frontline?

Hi

My cob has mites again. I would like to try frontline - i know this sounds really silly but is it the one you buy for your dog. And if so which is best the spray or the spoton.

Hi I used the large dog pipette. I used 2 , half on each leg. Hope that helps

we have a injection from the vets which prevents mites and also worms .

Deosect is another thing that works for some.

We use Dectomax injections, two, two weeks apart to kill the larvae and the adults.

You can use Frontline, there is a bigger spray on container one you can use. It has a sort of trumpet spray applicator. Does do the job. The Dectomax is effective for worms and lice, not mites so far as I am aware.

get his legs covered in pig oil and sulphur - nothing (even mud fever) can survive in it

My vet recommended me to use one dose of Eqvalan; then repeat in two weeks; and one further dose after that. So am in the middle and seeing how it goes!
