We currently have a great, heavily waxed surface in a small indoor school. We are moving and want to take our current surface with us and top it up and mix it with another surface to make a larger outdoor arena.
The surface manufacturer says that our current surface is not suitable for outdoor use, however we feel if we mix it with a lower grade of surface, it will allow better drainage and will save us loads of money.
Does anyone have any experience of doing something similar? A whole new surface is very expensive and we would prefer not to spend the money if there is an acceptable alternative, we spent a lot on the original surface.
We're so confused, we have had so many conflicting opinions, but no-one with really experience.
Thank you
