Been away since Milton Keynes so didn't get chance to get the pics online etc!

Got a late entry for Millie at MK and she was a v good girl. Completely unphased by their awful woodchip warmup arena with people all over the place on some wild ones and stallions without discs and all sorts! She warmed up well and did a v sweet test. Problem with these tests and her (she's 15.1hh) is that they give marks for paces/way of going etc but not for each movement. This was probably her most accurate and obedient test but compared to the big warmblood in before her she doesn't have WOW all over her more "sweet" so got 21 which was quite disappointing.

Jumping indoors she's only been indoors twice beore adn that was a while ago so she was very good. Did a lovely clear round and got the 2nd highest mark of the day 33.5 which was great from Malcom Pyrah as 3 people have told me on different occasions to take her to show him as a jumper when we want to sell!

Then Susie Pragnell someone else who would probably be involved in selling her if we do gave her a 13/15 for conformation so not quite the 14/15 of Bramham but not bad!

Just missed the top 10, she finished on 67.5 and the cut off was 68. Was really pleased though as she's not the real stamp for the class at all but at least in the jumping she's holding her own as we knew she could. She's having some dressage lessons between now and knaptoft to see if we can give her some more wow to the paces but realistically at her age we don't really mind and its great that she's so level and goes out and does these things!

She went to Weston Lawns last week and just went in the 80cm double clear for 5th - decided to take it down a step after last times excellent performance in teh Brit Nov!!

Been a good time for our homebreds, her 1/2 brother was Reserve Champion at East of England last week in the Riding Horse Youngstock and 2nd at Lincoln in both his hunter youngstock and sports horse classes! He's at the royal today with Jack Cochrane showing him again!

Anyway pics!

She looks so lovely, and was obviously really grown-up to get such good marks. I'm sure another dressage judge would have marked her much more favourably.

I did wonder how the 4yr olds would manage in the woodchip warm up as it was pretty manic when I was out there with the (supposedly) more grown-up 5yr olds!

Your 2yr old is a cracking type too, who's he by?

She looks really nice, just the sort of stamp I really like too. Another dressage judge, on another day won't be influenced by those 'WOW warmbloods' I'm sure!

Well done to you both.

She looks even more grown up now.
What a lovely dressage shot!
Well done she sounds like shes getting better and better every outing.

Spider the 3yo is by Mill Law he's actually living with Mill Laws owners and being show for them by Jack Cochrane as they really like him

He has had 3rd itis for most of the season - Hambleton, Bramham then managed to get 2nditis for Lincoln and East of England so maybe today is his day!!!

Millie is v upset her PAVO is cancelled this week so may go and do another Brit Nov at Weston Lawns on Thurs and then is on hols until Knaptoft I think. BB i think I saw you, well thought it was you then didn't know if you were actually there or not!!!

Milly looks fab, can't believe how grown up she looks! You'll have to keep to her to event now (to fill up the new lorry!!).
