Just seen the above two events have been cancelled.

Skipton are having inspection this morning, fingers crossed but not looking good. Is lovely and sunny here at the moment but has given lots of rain and thunder for later in the day so I fear the worst.

Oh dear, it seems like we can't win. The ground is either too hard or too wet. Feel sorry for everybody who was hoping to go.

Echo above!!

One minute rock hard the next sopping wet! If the rains stops next week though ground at events next week and the week after should have pretty excellent going!

Bl!!dy Tweseldown in 2 weeks which has perfect going anyway! typical!

Gutted - MK was my first run since the beginning of May. Just hope everything is OK for Ascott in a couple of weeks.
Question - will I get a super ballot sticker back as I used my normal ballot sticker or is it just tough?

Salperton Eventers Grand Prix is off too.

I saw that too T, real shame. Would have been a great contest there were some serious horses entered there.

Just checked the rule book and following is what is says (in bold type so obviously amended this year)

"On acceptance of entry, any ballot sticker attached to the entry form is spent i.e. if the horse is subsequently withdrawn or the event is abandoned/cancelled the ballot sticker will not be returned."

Bit of a b****r that especially as the weather is beyond your control.

What are they going to do about regionals ,we luckily got ours out of the way at Broadway , but load withdrew because of hard ground and I bet there are a lot of people who haven't done theirs yet. I suppose they will have to have 2 sections at the ones remaining or hold more and people with more than 1 qualification will only be able to do 1 and then they will have to travel a long way
