****warning...this is a self indulgent post****
I knew something was up when my slave came back on Friday evening to do my hair (she hacked me at stupid o'clock before work so thought that was it for the day
). I love having my hair done but she gets cross when I fall asleep and then wake up with a start and the plait goes wrong
!! Anyway, she finished beautifying me and put that stupid bat man hood on....all the other in-mates laugh at me when I have to wear it....anyone else have to endure this torture
????
We had quite a leisurely start to Saturday, I was very pleased to see she had packed 2 huge haylage nets for me, my only worry was that that meant it was going to be a long day
!!
We did my fav bit first (and no I'm not a freak or diva!!), I love showing off and poncing about. Slave was very pleased with me and gave me pats on both side of the neck....her slave (OH) thought I had a fly
. Apparently its one of the best tests I've done. She later said the judge was tight on marks and we only got 32.5 (she thought it was a sub 30 test...whatever that means!?). Anyway, it was the best score in the section....that might explain why she became a bit highly strung. Good news is she bought her best slave who's also a sports psych (we call her the shrink
!), so she sorted the neurotic slave out!!!
Onto the scary pole things! I've started to chill out a bit this year (apparently its cos I'm Irish and a bit of a late developer!!) so I warmed up well, had one dodgy jump but that sorted the slave out! Went in and felt well up for it, we flew around, even over a very scary fence that was causing havoc...didn't scare me
, then there was a double with some owl creatures staring at me, the 1st I could cope with but the second row of them were a bit freaky....slave sensed my apprehension so growled at me....always gets me a bit scared when she does that, so I jumped it but dropped my back legs just to give the owls something to think about
....that'll teach them for staring at me!!!
So, we had 4 faults and no time pens (we seem to have overcome that problem now the slave has let go of my mouth!!).
Next was the fun bit!! Slave was going on about there being 4 fences with black flags, which apparently is quite unusual for MK. She decided on 1 alt as she thought I'd be spooky....she really should trust me more!!!
So I set off at my usual rocket speed....I love showing off out of the start box
. Flew the 1st 4 no problem, then there was this weird black palisade which was not nice, slave had the cheeky to smack my bum....I decided I'd jump it then take off to next fences
. She kept telling me I was good so that pleased me!! Got to the alt fence and she jumped the tyres on the angle instead of the palisade thingy (glad she did really I spotted it a mile off...nasty bright new wood..yuk!!). We then got to go down the steps into the water which was fun, think I left a leg for some reason so slave was up by my ears looking at murky water...that made her sit up
. Then we went really fast up the hill, hauled me back for the corner...I don't mind these now she's learnt to ride them properly!!, then we just jumped and ran fast for home and haylage...yum!!!
I was quite puffed at the end but best slave looked after me very well and fed me polos!! I love the attention I get when I'm a good boy!! They eventually stopped fussing and put me on the lorry to resume eating this lovely haylage....very contented!
MK weren't as slow with their scoring as normal, so slave eventually came back with rosettes and big smiles. Apparently I was 6th best pony (would've won if those darned owls hadn't been starring at me!!), but never mind, she said she was pleased not to get time pens for using an alt (she forgets I'm a demon speed machine!!!) She said something about qualifying for a champs...she needs to check as she said there were 30 starters so we were in top 25%.....no doubt she'll let me know soon so I can check my diary
Anyway, I've gone on long enough, so well done if you've got to the end and thanks for reading. I'm currently in my field feeling very pleased with myself and having a well earned day off(obv using slaves laptop and wireless to get this to you all
