Sorry, pointless post really.
After blood, sweat and tears to try to get my non dressage horse to think he is a dressage horse
, hes decided jumpings for him.
He finds dressage boring, he anticipates flying changes, shoulder in when I want to do a circle or counter canter, Im told he is very talented but pretty lazy. Tonight I lunged him, he did his usual half hearted session so I let him loose and put a small jump up to see if that would inspire him. He flew it, cleared it by miles and galloped up the arena, stopped, galloped back turned and jumped it again, and again. He loved it.
I did try this ages ago and he just kept knocking it down so forgot about jumping.
So, looks like Im gonna have to give it a go, gulp!!
