Mobile Field Shelter Insurance

Who is your mobile field shelter insured with?

Friend having problems getting insurance for hers no one seems to cover them. Not even NFU!

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

We have mobile field shelters and stables - tbh insurance for any of them had not even crossed our minds........ insure enough with horses, dogs, cars, the house! Its got to stop somewhere

It didn't cross my friends mind until she had the order confirmation through and it said "Don't forget to insure your field shelter"!!!!!!!!! Friend doesn't do computers, hence me here asking!!

We had same problem but am now insured. Will find out who it's with & post this evening.

Mine is through NFU on our home insurance.

NFU have now said to my friend that they need details of the type of household policy they have insured other peoples field shelters under! They need to know if its insured under a business policy, if its away from the home or in home grounds. The size etc etc. Its a real nightmare!!!! They were asking me for other poeples policy no's - yeah right, like I give them that!!!! She had no idea it would be this complicated!!!!

Good job my boss is "very understanding" The phone and keyboard have been going nuts passing info around!!!!

NFU have said they will insure friends shelter - as a seperate building - the least cover they can offer is £45,000!!!! It would cost £125.31 per year. They will not insure the mobile fieldshelter any other way!!!!!!!!!
