Mobile field shelters

On the subject of mobile field shelters. How long would they had to be in one place to officially be allowed to become permanent.

I thought it was 7 years but not sher if this is right

Thought it was generally 10 years for any "temporary" building, without objection and even then you would have to apply for planning permission. It is not granted automatically, but you have a greater chance of being granted permission.

But check out the story in HnH regarding mobile field shelters - They still need to be moved every few months or you could risk a fine - depends on each individual council too.
