Hi All

as title really - I bought my field (completed last week -yay!!)

now I just need some buildings to put in it.

Can anyone recommend any manufacturers of mobile stables/shelters?

Or any to steer well clear of? maybe you could PM me in that case to avoid a telling off from admin :)

As cheap as possible without compromising on quality - suggestions please :)

Please be careful because even though i wanted a mobile field shelter i still needed planning permission due to being in a conservation area, so enquire at your planning office first unless you already have done.
Due to me needing planning permission i decided on a fixed field shelter with 4 thick fence posts in either corner cemented in & then i had a cemented surface inside too.

I had a local sawmill make mine up & they erected it too costing £850. Planning permission was an extra £130 which was 5 years ago so no doubt that would of gone up too now.

XxX

Thanks HC

Perrie - I have spoken to the planning office and mobile is fine, but a good point to make to remind anyone else whos looking :)

It is most important that you get a letter from your planning department to say there are no issues. Many a person has erected mobile stables and field shelters only to find that at a later date an enforcement notice has been put on them and they have had to remove them.
Also make quite sure that the field has had planning permission for change of use from agricultural to equestrian otherwise you can also end up with problems from enforcement.
You are always better off spending out some money for a local surveyor to contact the planning department on your behalf and sorting it out for you.
