Mock Hunt for Children

Hi All, Just wanted ideas really. I went to our annual Pony Club AGM and somehow came away with a list as long as my arm, of things for me to organise.

I have a venue, just not quite sure about the rest! I thought we could have a 'meet' with food etc, and then set off. It is for educational purposes so needs to be as realistic as possible.

Any ideas appreciated!

I would ring the hunt sec and see if they have any suggestions, but would see if the huntsman could lay abit of a trail and bring some hounds to have a mini 'hunt' with some little jumps etc, if poss. Huntsman could also give a little talk let them pet the hounds etc etc, our hunt does a hound exercise in aug for all the local pony clubs, kids love it and gets them realizing what it all about!!
